Commenting on this, the communication manager of Bet At Home, Claus Retschitzegger stated that SG Flensburg-Handewitt is considered to be one of the major sporting clubs in the all of Europe and in the upcoming years, the club is going to take part in many international and national competitions and will compete for the title. He also added that being the main sponsor of the sporting club and having the name of the company on the team’s shirts will certainly increase and expand the exposure in the company in the Champions League.

The sporting club, SG Flensburg-Handewitt has joined the DKB Handball Bundesliga twenty years ago back in 1992 and since then and it has won the DHB Cup 3 times and the league title once in 2004. The club also competed in the EHF Champions League many times and has won the European club once in 2001.
